Hi, I'm Cory, and I make the candles and perfumes around here.

Wax & Warmth is a one-person business based in Sterling, Illinois. Every candle and solid perfume is hand-poured by me, and I'm also the one testing new scents, printing labels, answering emails, packing orders, drinking more coffee than I probably should, and making the usual trips to the post office.

One of my favorite parts of this business is working on new fragrances. Sometimes a scent comes together quickly, and sometimes it takes literally months of testing and small adjustments before I'm happy with it. When I'm testing several fragrances at once, my house can sometimes end up smelling... well, interesting... but that's just part of the process. Thankfully, only the fragrances that make the cut end up in your home.
