Hi — I’m Cory, and I make the candles around here.

I didn’t start this business to build a large brand or chase trends. I started it because I wanted to create something real — something I could take my time with, do the right way, and feel good about. After years working in engineering jobs, I found myself wanting more control over the work I put my name on and the quality behind it.

I make every candle myself, in small batches, literally right at my kitchen table in Sterling, Illinois. I test each scent, adjust it, and remake it until it burns the way a candle should burn. I care about clean-burning ingredients, balanced scent, and consistency — not cutting corners or rushing things out the door.

This isn’t a factory, and it’s not a big operation. It’s just me, taking my time and doing things carefully. If you choose one of my candles, I want you to feel confident in what you’re bringing into your home — and to know it was made by a real person who genuinely cares about the quality of what he makes.
